ALL ABOUT CALM ATTACK

Embracing thier grunge and alternative rock roots, Calm Attack are a Scottish, energetic powerhouse, three piece influenced by Biffy Clyro, Bush, The Goo Goo Dolls and Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Members - Chris Paterson (Vocals/Guitar) Rory Jamieson (Bass) and Lucas Zawadski (Drums)
The band was started by Chris Paterson after building a following on Instagram playing alternative rock covers.
"I was struggling for many years with anxiety and depression as a result of a broken home.  Singing covers of my favourite artists on instagram helped me to heal.  With the support from my audience and likes from artists Jared leto, Goo Goo Dolls and Low Roar l was able to build the confidence to do what I had always wanted to do my whole life, start a band influenced by my musical heroes!"  - Chris Paterson (Calm Attack)
The band have received radio play from BBC Introducing and Amazing radio.  Their release "Demons" was featured on Spotify Editorial playlists "all new rock", "smells like stream spirit", "Rock your body" and "alternative rock's most precious gems".  Their new Single 'This is our time" was recorded by Mark Morrow (Vistas, Retro Video Club) and the video was directed by Stuart Alexander (Saint Phnx, Del Amitri)
In the past they have played alongside other great Scottish bands such as Twin Atlantic, the X certs and The Twilight Sad.
The lyrics are inspired by themes of Love, Death, Religion and mental health.
